Auditions are open for the 2010/2011 ODD Opera season:

Trinity St. Paul's United Church
In the Sanctuary
427 Bloor Street West (near Spadina Station)


It is free to audition. If you would like to to book an audition time and be considered for upcoming ODD Opera projects, please call 647-836-4132 or email us info@oddopera.com.

What to Prepare:
Everyone: Please bring your headshot (if applicable) and resumé to the audition. Please arrive early, as you will be asked to fill out a short audition form before your audition.

All Singers:  Please have 3 pieces prepared, in contrasting styles.

Classical/Opera Singers:  Please prepare two Opera/Oratorio selections and one piece in a style of your choice.

You may bring your own accompanist. An accompanist is available for the cost of $15. If you would like to use our accompanist, please send a list of the music you will be auditioning with, including .pdf of any music not available in standard repertoire.

Singers in Jazz/pop/R&B/Folk/other styles:   Please have 3 contrasting songs at least 2 in your strongest style. You may bring your own accompanist. An accompanist is available for the cost of $15. If you would like to use our accompanist, please send a list of the music you will be auditioning with, including .pdfs of any music not available in standard repertoire.

Actors/Comedians/Musical Theatre Singers:   Please prepare 2 monologues (contrasting in style) and come prepared to move.

Dancers:   Please prepare one solo piece demonstrating your strongest style(s).

Instrumentalists:   Please prepare 3 contrasting pieces in any style. A piano is available. Other instruments not provided.

Visual Artists:  Please bring your portfolio for consideration.
